( p r o c e s s ) - is a three part photographic presentation designed to communicate not just the journey of photographer/filmmaker Greg Hatton, but the work exists as a love letter to the practice of photography and the community that exists within it.

This work encapsulates years spent moving through different image making practices while traveling the world in order to see more. Photography is a highly personal experience for each photographer. ( p r o c e s s ) is a deeply personal showcase allowing the observer to see what life and learning this artist experienced while developing his craft. Ultimately illustrating his motivation to hold a camera each day and the movement generated to present this work to a wider audience.

Ingrained with context, ( p r o c e s s ) illuminates the fact that photography has alway been and will forever be a bridge bringing us closer to the world around us. We welcome you to take a moment to view, hear and absorb the experience of an individual that understood an avenue to touch life through the use of his camera. Also explore the parallels that may exist in your own ( p r o c e s s ) of experiencing this life, this world and the people that surround your story.

My exhibition takes you from the moment of seeing something, all the way to seeing that moment on a gallery wall. From the thought, the technique, the trial and error and the capture; to the people and the places that make these stories worth telling. When you look It’s all there, in life as it is in our photography, we’re all part of the ( p r o c e s s ). “
